OUR SECURITY GUARDS
Committed to Protecting You and Your Assets
We have part-time, full-time, seasonal, or event-only guards with an average of 12 year years of industry experience. They come from various backgrounds with varied experiences. Some have military and/or law enforcement experience. Some have primarily worked in security as guards for small, mid-size, and large companies.
We’re proud of the supervisors that help lead their individual units at client sites. Each squad relies on its supervisors to work closely with our field support, IT, HR, and management teams, to ensure that they have the needed support and resources.

In our attempt to protect the privacy of the executive protection clients with whom we have ongoing contracts, we have opted against featuring individual members of our EP Team. We hope this will better assist our team members in securing safe environments for our clients and themselves.
What we can share about our EP Team is that they are seasoned security professionals, and most are retired law enforcement and/or military. They love their work, and they do it with excellence. We appreciate them for living up to our company’s core values.

Tyrone Rodgers
Founder & President
Many people may know him from his previous career as an American Football defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL).
For more than 25 years, Tyrone has worked in the security industry, owning and operating private security businesses.
As the Founder and President of Rodgers Security Solutions, Tyrone is passionate about his work and always seeks ways to empower and uplift his staff and better serve his clients. Tyrone is both behind the scenes and out front and center, focused on business development and operations while also performing guard and executive protection services in lead and supervisory functions.
Dwanna Smith
COO
Dwanna Smith is our Chief Operating Officer (COO). With extensive experience in business procurement and a deep understanding of the security industry, she has played a critical role in the company’s success. Dwanna oversees all aspects of office operations, including administration, human resources, and business procurement. Dwanna oversees various functions, including finance, legal, and procurement, working closely with other team members to ensure that the company’s objectives are met. Her attention to detail and ability to manage complex projects has helped the company to secure high-quality products and services at competitive prices. Dwanna is a highly motivated and dedicated professional who takes pride in her work and is committed to making a positive impact on the company and its employees. “As a leader, it’s important to model the behavior and values that you want to see in your team. This means being accountable, transparent, ethical, and fair in all of your actions and decisions”, which has helped us to grow and thrive, becoming one of the most respected security companies in the industry.
Nicole Johnson
Administrator
Nicole started working with RSS in 2022 and has been a great asset, supporting operations in multi-markets. She works within our Human Resources department as a generalist and as a member of our Field Support team, ensuring that guards in her markets have the resources they need to succeed in their roles and provide the best service to our clients. Nicole holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Leadership.
