Special Event Assignments

Rodgers Security Solutions (RSS) deploys personnel to support conferences, concerts, sporting events, conventions, and private gatherings throughout Southern California. Event assignments are typically temporary or as-needed, based on client contracts and operational requirements. Some assignments may be single-day deployments, while others may span multiple days or recurring events. Completion of an event assignment does not guarantee ongoing employment unless a separate written offer has been extended.

All personnel assigned to represent RSS are required to complete the company’s Bullying + Harassment Prevention and Ethics Training before receiving a site assignment or a uniform.

Event Security Guards & Screeners

Event Security Guards support venue operations through controlled access monitoring, crowd management, perimeter presence, and incident documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active BSIS Guard Card
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
  • Comfortable working in large public environments

Experience in event or crowd management is preferred.
Veterans and former law enforcement are encouraged to apply.

Attendance at mandatory orientation and site walk-through is required prior to assignment.


Event Operations Support Staff

Event Support Staff assist with on-site coordination and operational logistics. Responsibilities may include:

  • Managing shift check-in and check-out
  • Maintaining attendance logs and shift rosters
  • Distributing uniforms and credentials
  • Supporting command post operations
  • Monitoring internal communications
  • Submitting reports and documentation to HR
  • Assisting site supervisors as directed

Candidates should demonstrate organization, reliability, and the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced environments.
